Damage and loss

The renter is responsible for the Starlink equipment for the full duration of the rental. If the equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen while in the renter's possession, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the $300 deposit.

If damage or loss exceeds the $300 deposit, the renter is responsible for paying the remaining balance.

Late returns

Equipment must be returned by the agreed end date. Late returns are charged at $40 per day (2x the standard daily rate) for each day past the agreed return date.

Cancellations and early returns

Cancellations made 5 or more days before the rental start date receive a full refund of the rental fee and deposit.

Cancellations made within 5 days of the start date forfeit half the rental fee. The remaining rental balance and the full $300 deposit are still refunded.

Returning the equipment earlier than the booked end date does not entitle the renter to a partial refund for unused days.

Deposit return

The $300 deposit is refunded after the equipment is returned and inspected for damage. Refunds are typically issued within a few days of return.

Payment

All payments, including the rental fee and deposit, are collected via Venmo as a single total once a booking is confirmed. Payment instructions are sent after approval.
